Kim Chiu is extremely elated that she and her four siblings Lakam, Twinkle, William, and John Paul have finally reunited after several years of being apart from each other.
The reunion, according to the actress, was a long time coming, as her last memory of them being complete was in 2013, when their mother, Louella Chiu-Yap, passed away due to aneurysm.
"Never felt this complete. The last time I remembered na kumpleto kami was when my mama died. Ngayon lang kami nabuo kasama si papa in one photo," Kim said in her latest post on Instagram.
"When we were talking about our younger years... what a life it has been. It helped us become who we are now, from walang matirhan, walang pang-tuition, walang pagkain, nag-aagawan pa sa ulam, sa damit, sa school things, and a lot more!!!! Looking back nag aasaran kami now na naluluha na natatawa. Hahaha," she added.
The actress went on to express her gratitude for the "gift of family that I have", saying she is grateful to have her siblings, best friends, and people "who will love me and support me no matter what."
Kim and her four siblings reunited just in time for the actress's 32nd birthday last April 19.
The reunion was made possible when her brother, John Paul, who is a licensed pilot, returned to the Philippines after eight years of being based in Canada.
Aside from her siblings, Kim also recently reunited with her high school friends in her hometown, Cebu.
Kim, 32, is currently part of ABS-CBN's noontime program It's Showtime as one of its mainstay hosts.
She is also one of the hosts of the hit reality show Pinoy Big Brother where she first started her showbiz career.
