After 2NE1’s surprise reunion at Coachella, another one of the biggest K-Pop groups in the world is set to make a comeback — Girls’ Generation.

Perhaps one of the biggest girl groups in the world, Girls’ Generation’s reunion is set to mark the group’s 15th anniversary.

Star News confirmed the news on Tuesday, May 17 (Philippine Time).

Girls’ Generation debuted under SM Entertainment in 2007.

Also known as SNSD, the group released their last album five years ago with their sixth studio album called Holiday Night.

As of this writing, details about the comeback have yet to be announced.

Composed of Taeyeon, Yuri, Hyoyeon, Sunny, Yoona, Tiffany, Sooyoung, and Seohyun, Girls’ Generation originally debuted as a nine-piece group. Jessica left the group in 2014.

SNSD became one of the most popular K-Pop groups in the world.

Some of SNSD’s hits include “GENIE”, “Gee”, “The Boys”, “Run Devil Run”, and “MR. TAXI.”

In 2020, the girls reunited but only for a fun night out.
