Island of Desire is a sexy drama starring Vivamax’s rising stars Christine Bermas, Sean de Guzman, Jela Cuenca, and Rash Flores. The story revolves around a young woman named Martha (Christine) who is assigned to work remotely on an island called “Isla Bato” where she becomes a nurse at its Regional Health office and befriends some of the residents. The longer Martha stays on the island, she begins to discover the strange things about the place and its secrets, including a cult with fanatic followers and an abusive leader. During the mediacon for the film, three of the film’s stars revealed their experience with indecent proposals after becoming a sexy star.

A former member of a boy band named Clique V, 22-year-old Sean De Guzman got his big break in showbiz after landing the lead role in director Joel Lamangan’s Anak ng Macho Dancer which was released last year. Since then, he has done films like Nerisa, Siklo, Mahjong Nights, and Taya. Along with those daring projects also came some indecent proposals.

Kahit mabagal man yun or mabilis. Kaya cancelled (laughs). Hindi (ako na-tempt),” he revealed.

Another newcomer in showbiz, Rash Flores may have admitted to having a gay relationship in the past, but the 23-year-old actor said that doesn’t mean he would ever entertain indecent offers.

May tamang proseso. Kailangan mo maghintay. Talagang iingatan mo ‘to kasi pinaghirapan mo eh. Galing sa pawis mo ‘to, ganun yun para sa akin,” he explained.

After being launched in the sexy film Moonlight Butterfly earlier this year, newcomer Christine Bermas said she is thankful to not have received such proposals in person.

“Wala pa naman ako na-encounter na ganun. Minsan, nung after namin na-screen yung Moonlight, may mga tumatawag sa akin from ibang bansa daw sila and then they liked the movie and they said na kung puwede magbigay ng mga things, ng mga ganun. And then hinihingi yung address ko. Hindi ko ini-entertain yung mga ganun scenario. Yun pa lang naman so far yung indecent proposal na na-encounter ko,” she admitted.
