The voice behind the song "Never Enough" from The Greatest Showman performed the song live on the Britain's Got Talent stage.
Loren Allred wowed the judges and audiences with her performance of the song in the show.
In an interview prior to singing "Never Enough," Loren shared the backstory of how she became part of The Greatest Showman.
"I think some of you guys have heard my voice but you don't know my face. I sing the song 'Never Enough' on The Greatest Showman," she told the BGT judges.
Loren relayed that it was actress Rebecca Ferguson, who portrayed the role of Jenny Lind, who suggested using Loren's voice for her performance in the movie.
"So I was hired to do the reference vocals for the actresses so they could learn the songs. So they had me come and sing 'Never Enough' and it's really Rebecca Ferguson who played Jenny Lind who said, 'I think Loren should sing the song, I lip-sync,'" she stated.
Judge Simon Cowell then asked, "So you sang one of the biggest songs of all time and you've now revealed that it wasn't the actress who sang the song in the movie, it was you singing that song, so why didn't you get that big deal after the song?"
Loren said that she preferred to be working behind the scenes that time.
"I was more comfortable singing behind the scenes but I feel kind of like the song was meant for me and I'm kind of ready to put a face to the song so I'm here to do that," she remarked.
Loren received a standing ovation after her breathtaking performance of "Never Enough" on the BGT stage.
Judge Amanda Holden also gave Loren a golden buzzer which will automatically bring her to the semi-finals.
"Oh my gosh, congratulations, that was just unbelievable.. I'm absolutely shaking. I can't believe I had this incredible opportunity to give you your moment to shine because this is it," Amanda told Loren.
"We were just in the palm of your hand from the first note. I can't think there's been many experiences in the show when we had that feeling," judge David Walliams said.
Meanwhile, judge Alesha Dixon remarked, "It feels like a superstar arrived like it transcended. It was otherworldly."
Simon then told Loren that he thinks this is her moment now after revealing herself to the world and performing the song live.
"This was so well-deserved because seeing somebody else sing that song in that movie and not have the recognition in doing one of the most incredible vocals ever, and now for you to kinda reveal yourself to the world, it was actually one of the most incredible moments I experienced. I'm speechless. I'm so happy. Timing in life is everything and maybe this is your moment now," Simon stated.
