Kristine Hermosa remarked that she does not foresee herself returning to show business anytime soon.

In an interview with Boy Abunda on his YouTube channel, Kristine said that she wants to focus on being a parent at the time being rather than doing acting.

I can do that kung pipiliin ko pero mas pinipili ko to stay with them, alalayan sila hanggang sa lumaki sila. Siguro kapag malalaki na sila, that’s the time na unti-unting babalik ulit," she said.

The actress admitted that she misses being in the entertainment industry though, saying, "Ako din naman nami-miss ko din naman [umarte]."

In the same interview, the actress was also asked about her journey of raising a family.

She said, "To be honest, hindi naman siya madali. I love being a mom and a wife – nagiging madali. Ganun talaga kapag nandoon ang puso mo di ba?"

Kristine also said that she considers herself as a "mother first."

‘Mama, kami muna.’ So definitely a mother first," she stated.

When asked if her husband Oyo Boy Sotto gets jealous over her prioritizing being a mother, Kristine said, "Hindi naman, Tito Boy, kasi alam naman namin ang pinasok namin na once magkaanak kami, it’s a commitment. We just find time na kunwari maluwag, alis kami.”

The actress also shared how motherhood changed her as a person. She said that she made a lot of realizations when she became a mother.

Grabe pala 'yung pinagdadaanan nila. Ito pala iyon. This is what it means. Very selfless sila, 'yung pagmamahal nila. Hindi bale nang mawalan sila ng oras for themselves, [basta they could] serve their children," she said.

Kristine was also asked on the adjustments they did as a family during the pandemic.

Although sabi namin lilipas din 'to, relax lang kayo, and nag-i-enjoy naman sila ng sama-sama at naglalaro sila at nagiging mas creative sila," she said.
