Television host Donita Rose has finally met the parents of her new boyfriend, Felson Palad.
Through an Instagram post on April 16, Felson shared his excitement as he posted a photo of himself, Donita, and his parents together.
"My lovely parents finally met my love @dashofdonita. My mama looks like Donita. They are both beautiful. I am reposting the picture my dad shared three days ago. I think it’s terrific," he wrote.
In the comments section of his post, Donita said: "My smile is the biggest. I win first prize."
It was only last April 6 when Donita, who is now based in the US, first confirmed her relationship with Felson.
Felson, a gospel recording artist and emcee, is Donita's first known relationship since she separated from her ex-husband Eric Villarama in 2016. The former couple were married in 2003 and parted ways after 13 years of marriage. They share a son, Joshua Paul, who is now 17 years old.
Earlier, Donita thanked all those who have expressed their support for her relationship with Felson, saying in an Instagram post, "I do not live for the approval or the praises of man but I do find encouragement from the love we are receiving."
She also addressed the negative comments she has received from netizens regarding her newfound romance, saying, "Yes, they have been painful for me, I’ll admit. But just know that @felsonpalad and I prayed blessings for them."'
The television host went on to share how proud she is of Felson and his family in the way they have handled all the bashing despite it being uncharted waters for them.
“Am so incredibly proud of how he and his family have handled this. Mind you, he has been unfazed and extremely amused, to say the least about the negativity and we are excited now, more than ever to proclaim God’s faithfulness and goodness in our lives,” she said.
