Global boy group BTS will be releasing a new album this coming June.
On Big Hit's Twitter page on Sunday, April 17, the agency posted a teaser video for the upcoming album.
The teaser video showed a montage of the past performances of the group. Towards the end of the teaser, the words "We Are Bulletproof" flashed on the screen. Afterwards, the date 2022.06.10 was shown in the clip.

The agency then released a statement on Weverse.
"BTS will be back with another new album on June 10, 2022. Details on the new album will be provided in a separate notice at a later date. We look forward to your love and support for BTS’s new album. Thank you," the statement read.
Fans were quick to express their excitement on social media following the news about BTS's new record.
The teaser video for the new album was also shown during the final Permission To Dance On Stage live concert of the group in Las Vegas.
BTS staged a 4-day concert in Las Vegas. The first two nights of the concert took place from April 8 to 9 while the last two shows were from April 15 to 16.

Prior to their concert, the group attended the 64th Grammy Awards wherein they performed their smash hit "Butter." The group was nominated for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance at the Grammys.
The last studio album of the group was Be which was released in November 2020.

Be became the fifth album of BTS to debut at number one on the US Billboard 200. The album contains the hit song "Dynamite" which became the first song of BTS to debut in the US Hot 100.
The group was nominated for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for their song "Dynamite" at the 63rd Grammy Awards, their first nomination from the Recording Academy.
