Over the past few days, a clip showing teen housemates of Pinoy Big Brother: Kumunity Season 10 mistakenly calling the Gomburza martyrs “MaJoha” has been making rounds online.
150 years after the martyrdom of the GOMBURZA, they have been renamed as MAJOHA. 🥲
We have so much work to do. It’s not just Martial Law. If we let things be w/ people never making sense of the whys of history, some troll will fill the gap for them.pic.twitter.com/9U087kIIpc

But host Robi Domingo has finally decided to come forward and break his silence on the issue.
Robi, in the video, asked housemates Kai Espenido and Gabb Skribikin the quesion: “Sina Mariano Gomez, Jose Burgos and Jacinto Zamora ay mas kilala bilang _____,” to which he got a response of MaJoHa.
The 32-year-old host, in a tweet, said that the video is actually alarming even though it appears to be funny at first.

Robi said he hopes the incident would give way for reforms in our educational system.
“Sa una, nakakatawa pero habang tumatagal, ‘di na nakakatuwa. Sana maging daan ito para makita kung ano ang kakulangan sa sistema ng ating edukasyon,” he wrote in his tweet.
