After revealing last year that they had already gotten married, Luis Manzano and Jessy Mendiola finally went on their official honeymoon trip to Jessy’s birthplace in Dubai earlier this month. In the vlog, the couple revealed it would be their first time to fly first class.
“Hindi ko pa nararanasan mag-first class, yung talagang pang-yayamanin. Hindi ko pa naranasan yun. Eh nag-usap kami, at least once in our life maranasan natin mag-first class kami sa isang first class airline din. So at least pag nakausap natin yung anak natin, ‘Alam niyo ba once kami ng inyong mommy naranasan namin mag-first class sa Emirates na one of the best airlines.’”
In the first part of their two-part vlog, Luis and Jessy spent some time bonding with Jessy’s side of the family based there including father Roger Tawile. Aside from doing some sightseeing, Luis shared that Jessy’s plans for shopping. The couple also vlogged their airline experience on the nine-and-a-half hour flight to Dubai from Manila.
After spending time in Dubai, the couple headed to Al Maha, a luxury collection desert resort and spa, located 45-minutes from the city. Online prices for a one-night stay at the resort range from P82,000 to P130,000. “Medyo outskirts ito ng Dubai, a bit far from the city. May sarili kaming pool,” Luis shared while showcasing the view from their villa.
True to his comical personality, Luis posted a hilarious caption after sharing their honeymoon vlog. Love is in the air kaya bigyan ko na kayo ng warning ha, magugulat kayo kasi parang lalo ako gumwapo dito. Watch na kayo!” he wrote.

Before leaving the resort hotel, the couple made sure to give special thanks to all the Pinoys they encountered during their honeymoon trip.
Thank you very much dahil iba talaga ang alagang Pinoy, from the restaurants, sa hotel, napakarami naming na-meet. So thank you very much sa lahat ng kabayan natin. God bless sa inyo,” Luis said.
The couple celebrated their first wedding anniversary at a health and wellness resort in Batangas just last February.
