As He’s into Her Season 2 starts streaming online later this month, lead actress Belle Mariano said she returned to the set will a little bit of apprehension this time.
“For me nung una kinabahan ako kasi this time yung characters namin mas may depth, mas kita niyo yung layers ng characters namin. Mas makikita niyo yung challenges na pagdadaanan nila. But with the help of everyone, once you’re in that kind of set-up na we’re all just in one bubble, being surrounded with the same cast, the same people, it really helps you be back in the zone and helped me be Max again. Talagang nakakatulong siya para ma-portray mo yung character,” she shared.
When it comes to her successful love team partnership with Donny Pangilinan, Belle said fans can expect a more mature version of their characters this time around in terms of both storyline and in their acting.
“The same naman from season one to season two, to articulate the emotions of the scene. Gusto ko once na once na mapanuod ko yung binigay ko sa eksenang yun, sana dumating sa audience yung message ko sa scene na yun. Just to be able to go through what Max went through, it was hard. But it was a good challenge. Well walang nagbago from Max and Deib from season one to season two but all I can say is nag-grow sila dito. Mas makikita mo yung maturity nila,” she explained.
The 19-year-old actress also revealed just how close she is to Donny after working with him on their second season as a love team.
“Sometimes I find it really hard to trust. But now I trust him so much. Sobra talaga. It was a process but he’s one of the few people I trust the most,” she said.
Aside from being his leading lady, Belle admitted she would not hesitate to support one of her closest friends.
“Being there for him, simply showing him and supporting him with whatever he is passionate with. That’s also a way of fighting for him,” she added.
