Ahn Hyo-seop took to social media to pen a message for his supporters following the successful conclusion of his hit K-Drama Business Proposal.
In an Instagram post, Hyo-seop said, "I feel like I got more love than I deserve. It was all because of the dedication and hard work everyone put into this project."
The Korean actor continued, "Thank you so much for all of your love and support. Although the drama ended, the story of Taemoo and Hari still goes on."
Hyo-seop shared behind-the-scenes photos from the K-Drama on his social media platform.
The said post gained more than 3 million reactions on Instagram
Prior to the finale of the drama, the actor also shared a clip of his duet with co-star Kim Se-jeong. The two stars sang the OST of the show titled "Love, Maybe."
The two stars promised that they will be doing a duet once the ratings of the show reach 10 percent in Korea during their interview in SBS Power FM’s Choi Hwa Jung’s Power Time back in February prior to the premiere of the show. Business Proposal hit the 10 percent mark in the ratings and even achieved 11.6 percent.
In the same radio show, Hyo-seop relayed why he said yes to doing Business Proposal.
"My past works were kind of heavy and my emotions were affected. When reading the [Business Proposal] script I did not think any further, the script was really enjoyable so I thought I should do this for the well-being of my mental health. The script was really fun," he said.
He was also all praises for Se-jeong's performance in the romantic-comedy series.
"It's a role where she needs to do a lot of things, but she pulled it off so nicely. There aren't a lot of things that I needed to do," the actor remarked.
Business Proposal follows the story of Kang Tae-mu (Hyo-seop), a CEO of a food company who offers Shin Ha-ri (Se-jeong) a proposal to pretend to be his girlfriend whom he will be marrying. The show is based on a webtoon with the same title.
Prior to Business Proposal, Hyo-seop rose to popularity with his hit shows Lovers of the Red Sky, Dr. Romantic, Abyss, and Still 17, among others.
He made his acting debut in the MBC series Splash Splash Love in 2015.
