Just like her role in the 2019 action drama series The General’s Daughter where she played the role of 2nd Lt. Jessie de Leon, Ryza Cenon also has a fearless and adventurous side, as seen by her love for outdoor activities. Last April 11, the 34-year-old actress happily shared going on her first outdoor climb since the pandemic hit in 2020.
She wrote,
“After 2 years nakaakyat ulit. First time ko sa Mt. Batulao, ang hirap kasi umulan ang putek!!! Ang dulas as in pero masaya lalo na mga kasama ko. Salamat sa magandang experience. @ohmcmountaineers @eulavaldes”

Also included in the hike was actress Eula Valdes, who played Ryza’s mom Corazon De Leon in The General’s Daughter. The veteran actress shared how challenging the day was on her own Instagram account but thanked Ryza for the experience. Eula is 19 years older than Ryza. ”Naimbitahan, sibukan , napagod, umayaw, humiwalay, nangabayo na lang. hehe!
Thank you @iamryzacenon.”
Ryza and Eula became close after playing mother and adopted daughter in the primetime series and even posted behind the scenes videos of them having fun with their co-stars on the set of the popular action drama series starring Angel Locsin.
Last year, Ryza shared a throwback post of her mountain climbing with her partner cinematographer Miguel Cruz. Ryza also shared throwback photos of her previous hikes from time to time, sharing her love for the outdoor activity.
