Ai-Ai delas Alas and her husband Gerald Sibayan are celebrating their eighth year as a couple this Tuesday, April 12.

To mark the special occasion, the two took to social media to share their sweet message for each other.

Posting their wedding photo on Instagram, Ai-Ai wrote: "The most wonderful thing I decided to do was to share my life and heart with you 8 years ago... I am very lucky to have you as my husband. I love you infinitely. GOD BLESS US ALWAYS... HAPPY 8th year anniversary my darling darl."

For his part, Gerald said: "Happy 8th anniversary wishes to my lovely wife. I’m so much happy to have you in my life. Thank you for everything my wife @msaiaidelasalas. I love you so much darling darling. I miss you. Konting konti na lang."

Ai-Ai and Gerald have been married for more than four years. They tied the knot in a star-studded ceremony at Christ the King Parish in Greenmeadows, Quezon City on December 12, 2017, seven months after they announced their engagement.

Prior to Gerald, who is a former athlete and a pilot, and who is nearly 30 years her junior, Ai-Ai was married twice — to actor Miguel Vera and to businessman Jed Salang. Her divorce from Salang was recognized by the Quezon City Regional Trial Court in 2016, allowing her to remarry.

Last year, Ai-Ai and her husband became the subject of headlines after the two sparked rumors of moving to the United States to start a new life.

However, the country's "Concert Comedy Queen" was quick to address the speculation, saying she and Gerald had not moved to the US for good, and in fact were only there for a vacation.
