We have many roles that each of us fulfill in everyday life and from personal experience, it’s really difficult to continue pouring out to other people when your own cup is empty,” she said.  </p><p>The 28-year-old beauty queen stressed the importance of taking care of one’s self, “So please take that time, make that intentional effort to really look after yourself, whatever that looks like for you, whatever is achievable for you and your everyday life because it’s an investment that we should all be making. Because at the end of the day, we have one body so we might as well look after [it]. We have one mind, we might as well look after it. We have one spirituality, we might as well look after it. The beauty queen took the chance to share that her father is now on the path to recovery. Something very simple lang. Just being thankful, giving thanks for the gift of family, and for the gift of being safe and healthy and altogether.”  </p>
