A new teaser for the upcoming series 2 Good 2 Be True (2G2BT), starring superstar couple Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla, was released on Sunday, March 6.

In the almost one-minute trailer, the characters of Kathryn and Daniel cross paths at a hotel, where a robbery incident later takes place. Alisson (Kathryn) believes that Elorde (Daniel) is involved and is out to prove her theory. But while doing so, the two find themselves catching feelings for each other unexpectedly.

2 Good 2 Be True marks the television comeback of Kathryn and Daniel, whose last teleserye was La Luna Sangre in 2017.

The series is part of the couple's 10th anniversary celebration as the popular love team "KathNiel." It also falls under the romance-comedy genre.

"Gusto talaga naming gumawa ng parang romcom. Kasi 'yung last serye namin was 'La Luna Sangre' and 'yun medyo fantasy-action siya. So sabi namin, siguro 'yung mga fans lalo, 'yung hinihiling nila is to see us parang gumagawa ng light na feel," said Kathryn.

"But of course andyan pa rin 'yung dapat may matututunan ka, nandyan pa rin 'yung core ng mga characters. But something light, just to give them a break and breather ba sa lahat ng nangyayari ngayon."

Directed by Mae Cruz-Alviar, 2 Good 2 Be True"also stars veteran actors Ronaldo Valdez, Gloria Diaz, Irma Idlawan, as well as Smokey Manaloto, Gelli de Belen, Romnick Sarmenta, and Cris Villanueva.

Alyssa Muhlach, Jenny Miller, Yves Flores, Gillian Vicencio, and Matt Evans are also part of the cast, along with Pamu Pamorada, Bianca De Vera, and Kristel Fulgar.

An airing date for the series has yet to be announced as of this writing.
