Empress Schuck and her husband Vino Guingona marked another milestone in their relationship as they celebrated their first wedding anniversary on Sunday, March 6.

On Instagram, the Kapamilya actress marked the special occasion by sharing a picture of herself with Vino.

"3.6.2021. So surreal to be celebrating our 1st Wedding Anniversary today. I love you @vinoguingona," Empress said in her post.

Empress, 29, and Vino tied the knot in a private ceremony held at the Hillcreek Gardens in Tagaytay, after six years of being together.

They got engaged in September 2019, on the fifth birthday of their daughter Athalia.

The couple, who both hail from Zamboanga, first crossed paths when Empress was just 18 years old; in fact, Vino gatecrashed the actress's birthday party. However, they were not officially introduced to each other until a mutual friend set them up for a date years later.

A former model, Vino is the grandson of former Vice President Teofisto Guingona Jr. and the nephew of Senator Teofisto Guingona III.

Meanwhile, Empress is a former talent of ABS-CBN's Star Magic. She is currently part of the hit primetime series The Broken Marriage Vow, based on the BBC award-winning drama Doctor Foster.
