Anne Curtis organized an outdoor birthday celebration for her daughter Dahlia on March 2, Wednesday.
Snapshots from the celebration were shared by Anne on her Instagram page. The It's Showtime host shared that Dahlia's second birthday was also her dedication day.
"Yesterday we celebrated the 2nd birthday of our dearest Dahlia Amélie and welcomed her to the Christian world 🤍🙏🏽 We pray that the Lord and His angels will always protect and guide her as she grows up. On t'aime tellement notre petite fleur🌸," Anne wrote.
Various celebrity friends of Anne extended their birthday wishes for Dahlia.
"Happy birthday Dahlia," Angel Locsin said.
"Oh, how precious 😍 Happy birthday baby darling Dahlia," Maxene Magalona wrote.
Floral and events designer Gideon Hermosa mounted the outdoor birthday celebration of Dahlia.
On his Instagram page, Gideon shared, "The bright blooming dahlias that surround this outdoor celebration certainly give away who our lovely celebrant is! Our little flower, Dahlia, turns two this day and it's made extra special as it is also her dedication day. Little Dahlia will surely remember this day by the display of bright-colored flowers and backdrop. It was such an honor to know that mom and dad, @annecurtissmith and @erwan loved what we created for their unica hija," he posted.
Dahlia is the first child of Anne with husband Erwan Heussaff.
In an interview with Boy Abunda for his Kumu livestream show The Best Talk last October 2021, Anne opened up about journey as a mother.
"It’s been amazing so far. You know, becoming a mother has been the most… I can’t even put into words how fulfilling it is for me to take on this new chapter of my life as a mother to Dahlia," she stated.
As her daughter grows in front of her eyes, Anne remarked that she has also been growing as a person.
"Everything changes in a good way. So many changes and so many good things are happening. Everything is so fulfilling and you see yourself grow talaga,” she relayed.
She also shared that motherhood made her learn how to live life at a slower pace.
"I didn’t think that I would like the pace, the slowing down, because everyone knows I’m such a workaholic — always on the go. I’m on (It’s) Showtime, I’m doing mall shows, I’m doing films, I’m doing concerts and then all of a sudden, (it’s) quiet. It was a huge change but you know, now I’m actually enjoying that (slower) pace in my life," she stated.
