Slater Young and Kryz Uy's son Scottie captured the hearts of many netizens in a viral video wherein he tried balut for the first time.
In the clip shared by Kryz on her Instagram page, Scottie could be seen enjoying his first taste of the Pinoy delicacy.
"Yummy daw!" Slater said in the video as he fed Scottie some balut.
The viral clip has already gained more than one million views on Instagram Reels.
Netizens could not help but gush over the adorable video.
"So cute Scottie boo!" one netizen said.
"Brave baby boy our Scottie," another netizen wrote.
Slater also commented, "Proud daddy."
Scottie is the first child of Slater and Kryz. He was born in June 2020.
In an interview with Modern Parenting in September 2021, the couple shared the changes in their lives after having their first child.
"Now, when I think about starting a business, I think long term. I want it to be something that Scott can take over. A business that to use as a backup plan to rely on," Slater said in the interview.
The couple also opened up about the experience raising a child amid the pandemic.
“Pre-pandemic, I was always out of the house or out of town. It would be hard to raise a family with that same lifestyle. It was when I discovered a whole new side of me while staying at home. I realized I could be a homemaker. I could find a way to make my household more efficient, and spend more time with my family,” Kryz stated.
In November 2021, the couple announced that they are expecting their second baby.
“I'm shook because Slater and I, we are not planning to have a second kid. I'm laughing because Slater and I had a conversation earlier today and I said, 'I think I am not pregnant because I'm getting all of these period cramps and period pains.’ I can't believe it,” Kryz said in the vlog last November announcing her second pregnancy.
She added, “I’m very, very, very happy, but at the same time… scared, to be honest, because it’s still pandemic. Like I had two kids during a pandemic, so I can’t really tell the difference of like, how easy it could’ve been otherwise."
