Kapamilya star Lovi Poe was on cloud nine after watching the concert of one of her favorite pop stars, Dua Lipa, in Los Angeles, California.
On her Instagram page on Friday, March 25, the actress shared her snapshots taken at the sold-out "Future Nostalgia" concert of Dua in L.A.
"Absolutely on a Future Nostalgia hangover ✌🏼 This was a much much needed break and night out with one of my faves @dualipa ♥️ Thank you Bubba for this treat," Lovi posted on her Instagram page.
"Future Nostalgia" is Dua's concert tour in support of her 2020 studio album Future Nostalgia. The concert tour, which was once postponed because of COVID-19 pandemic, started on February 9, 2022 in Miami, Florida. Dua will be touring around North America, Latin America, Europe, and Oceania for the concert tour.
Lovi watched Dua's concert with her boyfriend, British producer Monty Blencowe.
The couple has been dating since 2019. They have been in a long distance relationship as Monty is based in the US.
Lovi, who signed a contract with ABS-CBN in September 2021, has been working on the Philippine adaptation of the hit Korean series Flower of Evil alongside Piolo Pascual. It's her first project after joining the Kapamilya network.
"Isa ito sa mga paborito kong K-drama. Kaya noong sinabi sa akin na ito ‘yung magiging proyekto ko, iba ‘yung naramdaman ko. I was so excited," she said in an interview during her contract signing with the network in September 2021.
Asked why she decided to join the Kapamilya network, she replied, "I just feel like it’s time to work with the best of the best of ABS-CBN and I’m just looking forward to working with such amazing actors, amazing directors, everyone. More importantly, making new friends here. I think that’s the biggest factor."
The actress was also asked about her goals and expectations now that she's in a new network.
"More than anything, I guess my main goal is to just be myself, do what I usually do which is do my best when it comes to work. I really don’t expect anything. I am just really looking forward to all the amazing things that are about to happen," she stated.
