KD Estrada on working with Francine Diaz on ‘Bola Bola’: ‘She made the work easy’

<p>Aside from being one of Francine Diaz’s three leading men in the new iWantTFC series <em>Bola Bola</em>, KD Estrada said he was proud to also contribute to the show’s official soundtrack which includes one of his compositions which he wrote even before finding out he was cast in the show.</p><p>“Sinulat ko yung ‘Mahal Ba Kita?’ prior to <em>Bola Bola</em>. I wrote it after I got out of the (PBB) house,” he said. The former PBB housemate admitted he couldn’t help but feel a bit intimidated during their first few scenes together.</p><p>“Ang dami na niyang experience so siyempre hindi maiiwasan yung hiya when you’re working with a seasoned actress or actor talaga. Luckily, Francine is very nice and very friendly so the scenes just became very natural after a few takes (laughs). A lot of the kalokohan after the scenes, yung mga fun moments, Francine made the work easy. She made it fun. I’m thankful na I get to work with mga ka-age ko like si Akira (Morishita), si Danica (Ontengco), si Analain (Salvador), and Ashton (Salvador). Ang saya,” he shared.</p><p>Playing best friends onscreen came easy according to KD because he and Francine were already friends prior to the shoot.</p><p>“Of course when you’re acting with someone, dapat there’s a sense of may connection na kayo, you should have a friendship established. And luckily me and Francine, this is not our first time meeting. We’ve met a few times before like sa Squad Plus and at a birthday party din we had a chance to chat. Actually during the <em>Bola Bola</em> taping nagkuwentuhan din kami about stuff and it just came super natural so sa mga scenes it’s like we’re just having fun, bardagulan.
