Fans of the noontime show It's Showtime were delighted to see Anne Curtis finally reunite with her fellow hosts on Thursday, March 24.
Photos of the long-awaited reunion were shared by Jugs Jugueta and Teddy Corpus on Instagram, showing Anne with her fellow mainstay hosts Vice Ganda, Vhong Navarro, Karylle, Ryan Bang, and Amy Perez.
Also present during the get-together were Kim Chiu, Ion Perez, and Jackie Gonzaga, along with ABS-CBN executive Cory Vidanes and business unit head Reily Santiago.
The reunion generated a lot of excitement among fans of It's Showtime, specifically over Anne's much-anticipated return to the program after more than two years of absence.
It can be recalled that the actress temporarily left the show to prepare for the arrival of her daughter, Dahlia Amelie, in Australia. She gave birth to her firstborn, with husband Erwann Heussaff, in March 2020, amid the coronavirus pandemic.
In an interview with Boy Abunda in September, Anne confirmed that she will be returning to It’s Showtime very soon, although she did not say exactly when that will happen.
“Siyempre malapit na. I am just being very cautious din kasi minsan akala ko na nga na babalik na ako, tapos biglang aakyat 'yung [COVID-19] cases tapos napapraning ako,” she said at the time.
“Dahlia is still quite young pa. I am just being very cautious muna. But soon. Babalik ako, for sure 'yun. Babalik talaga ako for sure,” she added.
