JC first thanked his bosses at ABS-CBN for the trust they have given him throughout the years.

“Gusto kong magpasalamat sa ABS-CBN for trusting me and of course, for always giving me an opportunity sa akin. Sa mga boss na nandito ngayon, maraming maraming salamat for believing in me,” JC said.

He shared how he witnessed the Kapamilya network as it faced one of its most tumultuous events in recent history when congress denied its franchise to operate in 2020.

“Nakakaiyak naman. Marami tayong pinagdaanang challenges. Naiiyak ako hindi ko masabi. Everyone went through a lot. Napanood ko ‘yung bawat hakbang na ginawa nung network. At sinubaybayan ko din ang pinagdaanan ng lahat. Ang hirap kasi nakakalugmok,” he said.

Then again, JC remained hopeful as he witnessed how executives at ABS-CBN fought for him and his fellow Kapamilyas.

“Pero nanatili ako na hopeful and alam mo ‘yun, proud na lumalaban kasama nila.  I remained loyal and faithful to them kasi nakita ko kung paano nila pinaglaban ‘yung mga tao nila. Lahat kami,” he said.

Apart from JC, other celebrities who renewed their contracts with the network were Vhong Navarro and Ogie Alcasid.

One of JC’s most well-loved characters when he first transferred to the Kapamilya network was in the teleserye The Legal Wife. He also became part of the variety show Banana Sundae for several years before the show went off the air.

He is currently part of the It’s Showtime segment Sexy Babe and was recently seen in the series The Goodbye Girl.
