After almost two decades of being together, celebrity couple Troy Montero and Aubrey Miles are finally engaged.

Troy shared the wonderful news through an Instagram post on Tuesday, March 22, surprising his followers with photos of Aubrey's engagement ring.

\"Together 18 years, engaged 8 hours… Here’s to forever with you!\" the actor said.

Many of the couple's fans and friends quickly congratulated them on their engagement, among them Iza Calzado, Ryan Agoncillo, Yam Concepcion, Mica Reyes, Jay R, Gretchen Ho, Dominic Roque, Miriam Quiambao, Patrick Garcia, and Ara Mina.

Aubrey and Troy marked their 18th year as a couple last September.

Previously, the two revealed that they were supposed to finally get married on April 23, 2020 in Batanes — their dream wedding location. However, they were forced to postpone their wedding due to the coronavirus pandemic.

“We were going to stay in this nice hotel in the middle of the cliff. It’s a rock hotel. 'Yun yung mga plano. Meron na kaming wedding planner there and photographer, may video, and ang mag-we-wed sa amin dun dapat yung mayor ng Batanes,” revealed Miles.

\"We were going to be married in this grassy field overlooking the ocean. So it was going to be very picturesque [while] hoping it doesn’t rain but it was going to be great,\" said Troy.

At the time, the actor shared his thoughts on possibly having a civil ceremony while waiting for the situation to become safe again to have their dream Batanes wedding.“I think before I was against it just because that’s not what I wanted. I wanted one time to get married but on our own terms, a very, very small and intimate wedding. For me, we waited how long already and I was thinking we don’t need to do a civil wedding. ... But now that I think about it, maybe, maybe there’s a chance. I think it could possibly happen to have a civil wedding,” he said.

Aubrey and Troy have yet to announce their new wedding date.

The couple already has two children—Hunter, 13, and Rocket, 3. Aubrey also has a son named Maurie, 21, from a previous relationship.
