Tracy Maureen Perez concluded her journey in Miss World 2021 after making it to the top 13 of the pageant.

The 70th edition of the pageant was held in Puerto Rico on Thursday, March 17.

The Miss World Philippines Organization extended their gratitude to the beauty queen for representing the country in the pageant.

"Congratulations to our Miss World Philippines 2021 Tracy Maureen Perez! You represented our country well. We are so proud of you! Thank you for waving the flag of the Filipinas and for representing all the single mothers! You are truly an #ExceptionallyEmpoweredFilipina! Mabuhay ka!" the organization posted on their Instagram page.

Fellow beauty queens of Tracy also penned a message for her on social media.

Former Miss World Megan Young posted on Twitter, "Love you so much [Tracy]. We are so proud of you."

Binibining Pilipinas International 2021 Hannah Arnold posted on Instagram, "We love you and are so proud."

Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas 2021 Emmanuelle Vera wrote, "Amaaaazing job, love. You stunning [queen]! Congratulations!"

In the question and answer portion of Miss World's top 13, Tracy was asked, "How can you use your journey to inspire others?"

She answered, "If I told any of you my life experience, you will also probably wonder, 'how in the world did she get here?’ You know what, I'm so much bigger, I'm so much stronger than all of the unfortunate things that happened to me."

The Cebuana beauty queen added, "I know in my heart that all those experiences led me to this very day, to this very stage. And I want people to see themselves in me and be reminded that what we go through in life should never dictate where we will ever be."

The beauty queen also put the spotlight on Philippine folklore in her national costume during the Miss World coronation night.

The costume was designed by designer Axel Que who is also from Cebu. The costume was inspired by Mayari, the moon goddess and daughter of Bathala.

"Hailed as the most beautiful deity, she has complete dominion of the world at night. The moon has been revered as a celestial being by most ancient civilizations in antiquity. Apart from its mysterious allure, it has also been thought to have great cosmic influence on the mortal realm," Axel shared about the design on social media.

"My rendition incorporated a lot of traditional forms as the base silhouette, with slight exaggerations in the proportion and volume. For embellishment, I crafted white and purple moon flowers (morning glory/ moon vine) from scratch, and added the gradient shading in the middle to give it more depth. Pearls and tassels thoughtfully border the hemlines," the designer added.

Only the top 40 candidates of Miss World returned to Puerto Rico this year for the coronation night following the postponement of the pageant last December 2021 after some candidates and staff tested positive for COVID.

Tracy was among the candidates who made it to the top 40 after becoming one of the winners of the Beauty With a Purpose and Head-to-Head challenges.

The Cebuana beauty queen returned to Puerto Rico last March 13.
