Tracy Maureen Perez has once again returned to Puerto Rico to compete in the 70th Miss World pageant.

On her Instagram page, Tracy asked her Filipino fans to support and pray for her as she departed from the Philippines for the pageant.

"Here we go, Philippines!! For the second time around, I’m leaving for Puerto Rico, carrying with me our country’s hopes and dreams. Please continue to pray with me, I know that all our hard work will soon pay off and our hearts will shine through! Mahal kong Pilipinas, lalaban tayo at ipapakita natin sa buong mundo ang puso at galing ng Pilipino!" she posted on social media on Friday, March 11.

On Sunday, March 13, Tracy posted an update of her trip, sharing that she has finally arrived in Puerto Rico after a 30-hour flight.

"Just your ordinary girl with extraordinarily big dreams. Safely arrived in Puerto Rico! I’m very happy I got here a day early and no flight delays, so travel time was just about 30 hours compared to last time’s 40! Yup, I’ll take 30. So excited to officially check-in tomorrow! Let’s do this! Laban Bisaya, Laban Pilipinas," she wrote.

It can be recalled that the 70th Miss World pageant was cancelled in December 2021 after candidates and staff of the pageant tested positive for COVID.

Tracy had to return to the Philippines from Puerto Rico that time following the postponement.

"Still blessed, still grateful. It’s been a rollercoaster of emotions for the whole month most especially the past few days while I did my best to keep myself together and give my 100% every single day as I fight for our country, I’m now on my way to full recovery—physically, mentally, and emotionally," she posted in December 2021 after it was announced that the pageant was postponed.

"I will never forget the lessons I learned, the friends I made, the people who helped me, and the memories that I will treasure forever. I cannot wait to be back in Puerto Rico, to once again spend time with the Filipino community who gave their all in supporting me, to see my sisters again whom I shared an unbreakable bond with, and lastly to continue our fight for our beloved country and for those who are struggling, most especially the single mothers," she wrote that time.

Tracy was crowned Miss World Philippines 2021 in October of last year.

The Miss World 2021 Finals will happen on March 17, Thursday (PH time).
