Rose Van Ginkel shares how she handles ‘bastos’ and ‘manyak’ fans

<p>As a fan of foreign and local sex comedy films like <em>American Pie</em> and <em>Friends With Benefits</em>, actress Rose Van Ginkel said she enjoyed her roles in Vivamax’s original sex comedies like <em>Paglaki Ko Gusto Ko Maging Pornstar</em>, <em>69+1</em>, and <a href='https://www.imdb.com/title/tt16945796/?ref_=nm_flmg_act_2'><u><em><strong>Sanggano, sanggago't sanggwapo 2: Aussie! Aussie!</strong></em></u></a>. In her latest film Boy Bastos, Rose said she relates the most to this role.</p><p>“Biology teacher ako dito so nakaka-relate ako kay Katie kasi ganun ako in person. Parang careful ako. Ayoko ng issue. Nakaka-relate ako kasi ganun ako eh. Pag kaka-meet ko lang ng mga tao so hindi ko sila kilala masyado, careful ako na ayokong may masabi sila sa akin. Ayoko na may magawa akong mali so dun ako nakaka-relate. So once na napalapit na ako, unti-unti namang lumalabas yung talagang ugali ko. So ganun si Katie dito, habang tumatagal na magkasama kami ni Felix (Wilburt Ross) at ng mga friends niya, makikita na okay pala siya. Cool pala siya. Ang weird nga eh na ganun. Feeling ko kahit maayos yung suot mo o hindi, may ganun talagang pag-iisip ang mga kalalakihan at kababaihan. Siyempre may mga ganung moment din naman kami sa mga lalake. Pero as long as hindi nila ako nababastos ng sobra like nahahawakan, siyempre ibang level na yun. Kumbaga kasi ito yung first love scene na medyo seryoso talaga. Sabi ko nga sa kanya magtulungan na lang tayo. Si Wilbert grabe siya nung time na ginagawa namin yung love scene talagang nagsasalita siya ng, ‘Okay ka lang?’ Hindi ko alam kung paano ba ako mag-fo-focus since bumubulong siya sa akin ng, ‘Okay ka lang ba?’ Gumaganun siya sa likod ko so parang ako, ‘Ano ba? Paano tayo mag-ko-concentrate nito? (laughs)’  Pero enjoy naman. Nagustuhan naman ni direk which yun naman yung importante sa amin,” she added. </p><p>Rose also said she hopes to get the chance to work with Sid Lucero who is part of the cast of another Vivamax project Silip Sa Apoy. “Actually wala pa talaga akong naisip kung sino yung dream kong maging ka-partner sa mga movies. Kumbaga kasi ito yung first love scene na medyo seryoso talaga. Sabi ko nga sa kanya magtulungan na lang tayo. Si Wilbert grabe siya nung time na ginagawa namin yung love scene talagang nagsasalita siya ng, ‘Okay ka lang?’ Hindi ko alam kung paano ba ako mag-fo-focus since bumubulong siya sa akin ng, ‘Okay ka lang ba?’ Gumaganun siya sa likod ko so parang ako, ‘Ano ba? Paano tayo mag-ko-concentrate nito? (laughs)’  Pero enjoy naman.
