Known for their love for their own pets, Kathryn shared in 2019 that she had seven dogs. The kapamilya actress admits her dogs are always spoiled. “Super, I treat them like my own, like my babies. Yan yung magpapaalis ng stress ko talaga,” she shared in a previous interview.

In his home in Tandang Sora, DJ is proud of his 17 dogs which are of different shapes and sizes. In a previous interview he said, “Dream ko bata pa ako na magkaroon ako ng madaming aso. And alam ng aso, nakakatuwa dahil parang tao rin sila mag-isip.”

In 2019, the couple donated ten animal cages for use in the Manila City Pound.
