Pepe Herrera on playing Piolo Pascual’s twin in ‘My Papa Pi’: ‘Matagal ko na siyang gusto makatrabaho’

After being offered to play one of the lead roles in the newest kapamilya sweetcom My Papa Pi which starts airing next month, Pepe Herrera said he immediately jumped at the chance to work again with director Cathy Garcia-Molina as well as co-stars Piolo Pascual and Pia Wurtzbach.“Matagal ko na sila gusto makatrabaho. The 34-year-old actor said the preparation for doing live shows and teleseryes are not that different.“Kasi sa training namin sa theater, it doesn’t matter kung maiksi yung buhok or mahaba, puwede naman mag-wig, puwede naman mag-costume. Puwede mag-transform through costume and makeup. Although sobrang blessing in disguise na maiksi yung buhok ko ngayon at maiksi din ang buhok ni papa Pi. Baka blessing in disguise or divine intervention,” he said.When it comes to doing comedy, Pepe also revealed who are his inspirations both in and outside the country. “Unang una, wala akong tinitingala pero meron akong tinutularan.
