With his busy schedule this year playing the role of mayor Troy Ramones in the primetime series Viral Scandal as well as another project in the works, Jake Cuenca said he can not dream of better roles to play onscreen at the moment.

“I’m already just very happy to be doing an international project with ABS-CBN right now. So for me, rather than dreaming of the next role, I’d rather just focus on what I have and I’m just very lucky to be part of Cattleya Killer. I just want to make this as iconic as I can, make it as original as I can and with that I’m already so grateful,” he shared during the Kapamilya Strong 2022 event last February 23.

In one social media post, Jake reiterated his gratitude to ABS-CBN which gave him starring roles in popular series starting with Palos in 2006 and followed by Tayong Dalawa, Rubi, Kung Ako’y Iiwan Mo, Ikaw Lamang, and Walang Hanggang Paalam to name a few.

He wrote, “It was an opportunity of a lifetime for me 16 years ago and it’s still an opportunity of a lifetime for me today. Happy to be here, through the good times and the bad I am Proud to be a kapamilya. ❤️💙💚”

While looking back on the highlights of his career, the Viral Scandal actor revealed that he finally got the opportunity to portray his dream roles only after transferring to ABS-CBN in 2006.

“The highlight really began for me nung dumating ako sa ABS-CBN. Kasi before then, all those years being in the industry before I went to ABS-CBN it really just made me parang dream of these roles and these projects. I didn’t think I was ever going to be worthy enough or I didn’t think na magiging sapat na yung ginagawa ko para makuha yung mga ganun na roles. Pero those dreams came true when I came to ABS-CBN. Parang nagtiwala sila sa akin and they banked on me,” he admitted.
