"Happy second anniversary my travel buddy, fellow foodie, Billie Eilish album reviewer, master of plants (specifically chillies and citrus plants) and to the person who would still hang out with me even if there was a man park where men randomly talk about Marvel. You make my days brighter! Also how cool is it that our second anniversary is on 2.22.2022?!" said Bela.

In the comments section of her post, fans and fellow celebrities of Bela wished the couple a happy anniversary, including Dani Barretto, Kim Chiu, Angelica Panganiban, Sarah Lahbati, Jericho Rosales, Iza Calzado, Cherry Pie Picache, and Mariel Rodriguez.

It was in October 2020 when Bela, 30, introduced her boyfriend to the public.

Previously, the actress shared that she met Norman during the shooting of her film Meet Me In St. Gallen in Switzerland.

“He was studying in the University in St. Gallen. The University in St. Gallen focuses mostly on business-related courses. He was doing a course there. I met him on the last day of my filming. Super sakto kasi I was leaving for Zurich the next day. I was leaving town the next day, I wanted to do a road trip by myself, soul searching kasi nga I was going through something. Tapos we met on the last day,” she recalled.

On why she thinks her relationship with Norman works, Bela said: "Kasi 'yung ugali ko hindi siya sobrang Filipino. Parang mas Western ako mag-isip, so bagay sa akin 'yun. 'Yun ang nag-wo-work for me. Kasi 'yung first boyfriend ko was super through and through Filipino, 'yung bago ka lumabas ng bahay magpapadala ka ng picture kung gaano kaiksi yung suot mo. ... Or yung, ‘Kumain ka na ba?’ maya’t maya.

"Kaya nag-wo-work siguro sa akin yung relationship ko ngayon kasi ang usapan namin ngayon, ang weird eh, mas serious pero mas low-key, minsan tanga lang 'yung pinag-uusapan namin pero nag-wo-work. Kanya kanya naman 'yun eh. Kanya kanya ng trip,” she said.

Bela has been spending more time with her boyfriend since she moved to London late last year. The actress earlier said that though there were a number of reasons behind her move, she also did it to be closer to Norman.

“I didn’t move just to be with Norman although it does make it so much easier to be in London. At least now we are quite close to each other and he’s here a lot. I go to Switzerland a lot. It’s definitely a big jump and a lot easier," she said.

Prior to dating Norman, Bela was previously in a relationship with film producer Neil Arce, who is now the husband of her fellow actress Angel Locsin.

She was also rumored to be dating her 366 co-star Zanjoe Marudo in the past, but the actress has since clarified that she and the actor never got past the friendship stage.
