After months of staying in Manila, Andi Eigenmann and her family will be returning to their home on Siargao Island, which was one of the hardest-hit areas by Typhoon Odette back in December 2021.

The actress shared the news with her fans on Instagram over the weekend, as she posted photos of her daughter Lilo with high-rise buildings in the background.

"Last series of snaps with this concrete jungle as background. I know the scenic coconut trees will still not be as lush and green as it used to be, but to us, there's just no place like home," she said.

"Stay tuned, and join us once again as we hit the road and make our (long) way back home!"

Andi, 31, has long resided in Siargao together with her fiancé Philmar Alipayo, their two kids Lilo and Koa, and Ellie, who is her daughter with her former partner Jake Ejercito.

The family was among the thousands of residents who were displaced from the island following the devastation of Typhoon Odette in many areas in Visayas and Mindanao last year.

Previously, Andi said that despite this ordeal, there is still so much that she and her family should be grateful for.

"My kids know for sure this is not 'home', but having both of us around somehow makes everything better. Although soon, Papa will be going back to the island again, I am more than happy to focus on our children for the both of us knowing that he is able to help better from there," she said at the time.
