Glaiza de Castro and her fiancé David Rainey are now married, they announced on Valentine's Day, Monday, February 14.

On Instagram, the actress shared photos of their scenic wedding ceremony, which was reportedly held in Northern Ireland in October last year.

"After we got married, some people were asking when we are going to announce it and I honestly thought whether to share it or not since we are also preparing for a wedding in the Philippines," said Glaiza.

"Naisip ko na kung i-she share man namin ‘to, gusto rin namin i-share 'yung naging kwento at proseso namin," she added. "It wasn’t easy for us, much like every relationship. We all have our own pattern and design. Marriage isn’t our end goal, it’s just a part of what’s to come."

Aside from the photos, Glaiza and her now-husband also released a vlog on their newly launched YouTube channel showing snippets of their big day, which was attended only by a handful of people.

Among those who congratulated and expressed their happiness for the newlyweds were Marian Rivera, Angelica Panganiban, Lovi Poe, Iya Villania, Rachelle Ann Go, Gabbi Garcia, Rayver Cruz, and Chynna Ortaleza.

Glaiza, 34, got engaged to David in Christmas 2020, after more than a year of being a couple. The surprise proposal took place also in Ireland.

Previously, Glaiza said that before she even accepted her now husband's proposal, she already knew that he was "the one" after dating him for just a few years.
