Korina Sanchez made sure her twins Pepe and Pilar’s birthday celebration this year will be one one for the books as she threw a superhero-themed party for them.
Pepe and Pilar marked their third birthday last Saturday, February 12.
In photos Korina shared on Instagram, Pepe and Pilar can be seen wearing costumes of DC superheroes Batman and Wonder Woman.
While most of the guests were of Korina’s age due to the COVID-19 situation in the country, Korina said the birthday party of her twins was still a success.
“SUCCESS ang children’s bday party na puro matatanda ang guestlist. The balloons (thanks Macky, Tita Mariole and Tito Johnny Manahan, and Cest Ca) and the food—burgers, corndogs, hotdogs and their fave chocolate pizza from Margarita Forès), the Wonder Woman and Batman cakes from Cupcakes by Sonja,” Korina wrote in her post.
She went on: “And the Cakes from Fernando’s were a hit kahit sa tanders, and the Batman and Wonder Woman costumes (thanks my sec Juliet) made it all so enjoyable for Pepe en Pilar and sa amin!”
Korina said she hopes next year would be entirely different so that kids and relatives could join them.
“Even locked down kids parties can work. ‘Yun lang, huhu, walang ibang bata and relatives. Next year NORMAL NA SANA. Claiming it. Thank you, Lord, for keeping my kids safe. And thanks to all for the greetings and gifts to the Dynamic Duo,” she said.
In another video, Pepe and Pilar can be seen blowing letter cakes with their father, former Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Mar Roxas, helping them.
Korina Sanchez and Mar Roxas welcomed their twins Pepe Ramon Gerardo Manuel Denzel and Pilar Judith Celia Ester Korina via surrogacy.
