Following the massive success of All of Us Are Dead, director Lee Jae-kyoo said that he is hoping for a second season.
"Many directions, settings, and scenes were intentionally produced to expand the story into an additional season, including the introduction of the new races of zombies - immune and immortal," he said in a report by The Korea Herald.
Though there is no confirmation yet for a second season from Netflix, Jae-kyoo shared what fans can expect if season two will materialize.
"If the first season can be seen as having presented humanity‘s survival, the next season can talk about the survival of zombies. I hope to present viewers with another season," he stated.
All of Us Are Dead follows the story of high school students who find themselves in the midst of a zombie apocalypse.
The series stars Park Ji-hu, Yoo Chan-young, Cho Yi-hyun, and Park Solomon, among others.
