OPM champions Yeng Constantino, Angeline Quinto, and Marcelito Pomoy took to their social media accounts to express their sadness over the deafh of their fellow artist, Jovit Baldivino. The quartet were known as the Pinoy Champs after winning first place in their respective singing and talent competitions.

Yeng shared a group photo in black and white without any caption aside from bidding the late singer goodbye.

Angeline penned a letter to her friend on her Instagram and she also shared different photos of them performing together.

“PINOY CHAMPS Paalam Jovs. Hinding hindi kita makakalimutan Salamat sa pagkakaibigan at pagkakataon na makatrabaho kita. Pasayahin at kantahan mo sila dyan sa langit ah Jovs. @jovitbaldivino Mahal kita Jovit,” she wrote.

Meanwhile, Pilipinas Got Talent Season 2 winner Marcelito revealed he tried to be in contact with Jovit during his final moments earlier today. He showed a screenshot of their last conversation in his post.

“Parekoy... 3:33AM this morning pinipilit ka pa naming kausapin at gisingin baka magmilagro pa... sobrang sakit mawalan ng isang kaibigan.. ikaw yong taong unang sumuporta sa laban ko sa PGT.. pahinga ka na... no more pain parekoy... isa kang tunay na kaibigan... hinding hindi kita malilimutan,” he shared.

Earlier, the family of Jovit released their official statement on the singer’s cause of death. It was revealed that the late singer showed signs of aneurysm as the CT scan showed a blood clot in his brain.

Jovit was only 29 years old when he died. He rose to fame after being hailed as the first ever champion of Pilipinas Got Talent.
