Darren Espanto got to meet ENHYPEN backstage at the K-Pop group's fan meeting in the Philippines last Saturday, December 3.

The Kapamilya singer shared his photo with the ENHYPEN group members on his social media page.

"What a night! @enhypen. Thank you @byscosmetics_ph and @wilbroslive!" Darren posted on Instagram.

Fans of Darren were quick to react to the photo.

"My first love and my current love. Y'all this is my two worlds colliding. Thank you for this, D!" one fan said.

"You are amazing D! Siguradong napahanga mo din ang Enhypen!" another fan commented.

Darren served as the opening act of ENHYPEN's Fun Meet in Manila at the Araneta Coliseum on Saturday, December 3. 

The event marked the 10th-anniversary celebration of the beauty brand BYS.

Enhypen is composed of seven members Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, Jungwon and Ni-ki. The group debuted on November 30, 2020.

In an interview during a press conference with the Philippine media prior to their fan meeting on Saturday, group member Jake remarked that he felt  elated to finally meet their Filipino fans in person.

"I’m so glad to see our Filipino fans for the first time. It’s such a cool experience," he said as reported by Rappler.

The group also said that they are looking forward to performing for their fans in the Philippines next year.

"The best part of being an artist is seeing and performing for all the fans. It’s something we cherish. But we still hope to have more chances to meet our Filipino ENGENEs in 2023," the group said.

ENHYPEN also discussed how they continue to evolve as artists for their fans.

"As an artist, we can’t just stay the same…. What we want to do is to explore new sounds and styles. We continuously try other genres. We keep exploring so that our fans will discover new sides of ourselves.… We always look for opportunities to try new genres that we can show to our fans," the K-Pop group explained.
