Veteran actress Sylvia Sanchez said she is okay with whomever her daughter, Ria Atayde, would choose to date.
Sylvia showed photos of Arjo Atayde’s birthday celebration in Quezon City and netizens were surprised to see Zanjoe Marudo in some of the photos taken during the event.
Sylvia shared that Zanjoe took the time to bond with their family.
“Thank you for spending time with us Z @onlyzanjoemarudo. I’m looking forward to [getting to] know you more,” Sylvia wrote in the caption.
One of Ria’s friends commented on the veteran actress’ post, saying that she feels glad that the actress welcomed Zanjoe into their family.
The 51-year-old actress added that seeing her daughter happy is enough reason to welcome anyone into their lives. She jokingly added that at the end of the day, her children will be the ones dating their significant others and not her.
It can be recalled that it was the veteran actress who disclosed to the public the relationship between Ria and Zanjoe.
Just last month, Sylvia shared that the two are dating each other but made it clear that they aren’t officially in a relationship yet.
Wala pa talaga,” she added.
Meanwhile, Ria and Zanjoe were spotted in Japan earlier this month alongside Daniel Padilla, Kathryn Bernardo, and Joshua Garcia.
The group visited different tourist attractions in the East Asian nation and shared photos on social media, giving fans glimpses of the fun trip abroad.
