Global star Taylor Swift made history after she occupied the Billboard top 10 chart, one week after her 10th album Midnights was released. She becomes the first artist to do so in the history of Billboard.

Landing the number one spot on Hot 100 is her track "Anti-Hero." Billboard reported that the song gained 59.7 million streams, 32 million airplay audience, and 13,500 sales in the US from October 21 to 27.

After occupying the entire Billboard Hot 100 top 10, Taylor broke the record of Drake who dominated the list in September 2021 with nine songs from his album Certified Lover Boy.

Taylor's album Midnights also landed the number one spot on the Billboard 200, selling 1.578 million equivalent album units in the US for one week. Midnights has the biggest sales week for an album since Taylor's 2017 album reputation which also sold more than one million copies in its first week.

Taylor is now tied with Barbra Streisand for the female artist with the most number one albums.

Taylor released her Midnights album on October 21.

"We lie awake in love and in fear, in turmoil and in tears. We stare at walls and drink until they speak back. We twist in our self-made cages and pray that we aren't - right this minute - about to make some fateful life-altering mistake," she wrote in an Instagram post as she announced Midnights to the public back in August.

"The floors we pace and the demons we face. For all of us who have tossed and turned and decided to keep the lanterns lit and go searching - hoping that just maybe, when the clock strikes twelve... we'll meet ourselves. Midnights, the stories of 13 sleepless nights scattered throughout my life, will be out October 21. Meet me at midnight," she added.
