With the third season of his successful iWantTFC series Hoy Love You now available for streaming online, lead actor Joross Gamboa said he and onscreen partner Roxanne Guinoo don’t just play partners onscreen but are good friends off camera as well. The longtime love team partners known as “JoRox” also talk about their respective family matters with each other as well as how to improve their scenes together.
So collaborative ideas talaga, pinagsa-sama sama. So alam nila yung feel, yung atmosphere dun,” he said.
With their roles as Jules and Marge now expecting their own child after blending their families in previous seasons of the show, Joross shared his own parenting style in real life to his sons John Kody and Jace Kyler.
“Totoong mahirap (maging parent). Nung first time mag-face-to-face class ng anak ko, nanunuod lang kami sa bintana. Nag-pi-picture, nag-vi-video. So dapat in agreement kayo kung ano yung bawal.
Describing his most difficult scene to act out in the series, Joross said his character had to do both drama and comedy in one scene effortlessly.
“Yung dramatic moments. After kasi nung iyakan, may comedy bigla na pasigaw tapos dun ako napaos. So yun yung challenge sa lahat. Pero ngayon parang linalaro na namin lahat yung mga eksena kaya mas fun,” he said.
After launching their first season last year, Joross shared that everyone working hard on and off camera helped achieve their goal of having succeeding seasons.
Kailangan tulungan, pasahan,” he added.
