Tippy Dos Santos returns to acting as she stars in the “Kapre” episode of the horror anthology on Hulu called Bite Size Halloween.
The said episode — which runs for seven minutes — is one of the 20 offerings in the third season of Bite Size Halloween. The show started streaming on October 1.
Tippy stars alongside Nico Locco in the film directed by Carlo Ledesma.
Meanwhile, Tippy took to Instagram to share the great news, thanking her director for believing in her.
“Man this was so much fun to shoot. Thank you to the whole team especially to Direk @carlo.led for believing in my pretend camper skills”
Her friends Alex Diaz and Ina Feleo congratulated her on the project. “this looks good!! @tippydossantos8,” Alex wrote. Ina, on the other hand, said: “Congrats Tips!!”
Director Carlo Ledesma shared in a previous post how happy he is to get a platform where he could showcase Filipino myths and monsters to a global audience.
“As a Filipino filmmaker it’s always been a dream of mine to share our myths and monsters to a global audience. So when the wonderful people at 20th Digital Studio invited me to pitch for their critically-acclaimed Bite Size Halloween series on Hulu, I knew exactly which tree-dwelling, cigar-smoking creature I wanted to feature.
“And thanks to an amazing dream team cast and crew, we were able to bring our hundred foot giant to life. So world, meet The Kapre. The Philippine version of Bigfoot. He’s nice once ya get to know him,” he added.
The “Dati” hitmaker previously appeared on the music channel MYX as one of its regular VJs. She then took a pause from her showbiz commitments to pursue a law degree.
In August 2022, Tippy graduated from the University of the Philippines - Diliman College of Law.
She took her undergraduate degree in the same school, graduating with a degree in Family Life and Child Development back in 2016.
