Doug and Cheska Kramer are proud parents after their daughter Scarlett Kramer bagged a medal at her first Taekwondo sparring tournament.

On his Instagram page, Doug penned a heartwarming message for their daughter after the sparring match.

"So, so proud of our baby doll, Scarlett! This is your first face-to-face taekwondo sparring tournament, and you got your much deserved silver medal!" Doug remarked.

The celebrity dad was all praises for Scarlett's fighting spirit, saying, "Scarlett, we know you struggled with your self-confidence and at times you questioned yourself if this was the sport for you. But each and every time you cried in frustration, you also came back and challenged yourself even more."

He also penned some words of encouragement for their daughter.

"Keep your eagerness to improve, and learn from your mistakes. But just like everything in life, nothing really comes easy and you have to put work into it. And, when you love it, it's worth all the tears, challenges, and all the work you put in. All because you didn't give up! We all celebrate with you Scarlett!" he wrote.

"It was tough to watch you fall down and get hit, but every time you got up and pressed forward! There is still a lot to learn and we promise you, we will always be here to cheer you on and support you and remind you to never give up!" he said.

He added, "You said, ‘Mommy, Daddy, how can I be more confident with myself?’ Scarlett, nobody can teach you that but yourself. And today, you showed how brave you were in challenging a more experienced and taller fighter in your finals match. Win or learn! We're all so proud of you!"
