After a long wait, the trailer for the upcoming thriller Nocebo starring Filipina actress Chai Fonacier is finally out.
Chai, an actress best known for her role in the dark comedy film Patay Na Si Hesus, stars in the film alongside Eva Green and Mark Strong.
The Cebu native plays the role of a Filipino caregiver who appears to make a ritual as a way of helping heal the character of Eva Green in the official trailer.
“A fashion designer (Eva Green) suffers from a mysterious illness that confounds her doctors and frustrates her husband (Mark Strong) – until help arrives in the form of a Filipino nanny (Chai Fonacier) who uses traditional folk healing to reveal a horrifying truth,” the synopsis read.

Eva Green and Chai Fonacier previously exchanged kind words about each other.
Eva, for one, described Chai as “truly a great actress with extraordinary depth and sensitivity.” “She was an incredible partner - she blew me away,” she added.
Chai, on the other hand, called Eva “among the best, kindest, most talented people I have ever worked with.”
Directed by Lorcan Finnegan and written by Garret Shanley, it will be out in US cinemas on November 4 and on digital platforms on November 22. Meanwhile, it has yet to be announced if the film will be released in the Philippines.
