It’s Showtime host Vice Ganda has been noticeably absent from the show for several weeks now.

Content creator AC Soriano posted a video expressing his sadness over the host’s absence.

Vice reacted to his post and assured him that he will be back soon.

“I’ll be back soon. Love u,” he tweeted.

While he did come back for a couple of episodes, Vice had to beg off again, even missing the Miss Q & A Queen of the Multibeks finale last weekend.

Kagabi pa ko umiiyak dahil di ako napayagan for a valid reason,” Vice apologized.

Despite the show being closer to his heart, he didn’t want to reschedule and take the spotlight away from the contestants.

“Di ako pumayag na iadjust ang date ng Finals kasi this event is not about me. It’s about these beautiful girls and their talents. So for now let’s focus on them. Sorry po,” he explained.

Yet, it seemed not all of his fans were okay with his explanation. One netizen called him out on his absence and also insinuated that there must be some issues between Vice and the other hosts.

“Ano ba problem, Ms. Vice? Finals last Saturday siguro naman kahit may shooting pwede Kang payagan ng producer na mag absent kahit one day Lang,” tweeted the netizen.

Vice acknowledged the tweet, and even “confirmed” jokingly about having problems with the cast.

Tinamad lang ako talaga,” said Vice in jest. “

In a series of tweets, Vice “revealed” issues among the cast members, starting with a supposed rift with Anne Curtis.

I hate Anne for life!,” said Vice.

Next, he “revealed” a punching incident between Jhong Hilario and Ion Perez. In his story, real-life dancer Jhong couldn’t follow the choreography that was given.

Vice went on being a “Marites” and involved Teddy Corpuz and Ryan Bang next.

His last “revelation” involved a laughable pregnancy between the show’s director Jon Moll and co-host Jugs Jugueta.

Vice Ganda’s tongue-in-cheek comments were truly in character with the deadpan comedic style of the comedian-host, and garnered thousands of likes.

Happy??”

The supposed “issue” reached Anne, who gamely joined in.

“Ikaw talaga. Paa. Paa na may bakal.”

“Pero ok lang yun sez!,” Anne continued. “May 3 ka pa naman natitira.”

In his last tweet, Vice changed his tone and just greeted the show for its thirteenth year and promised to see the madlang people soon enough.

“Happy 13th Anniversary It’s Showtime,” Vice greeted. “See you Wednesday! Miss u and love u!”
