The 1975 will be returning to Manila in 2023

English pop rock band The 1975 is coming back to Manila on May 3, 2022 for a one-night only concert. They will be performing in front of their thousands of Filipino fans at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.

“It’s happening. It’s here. And it’s real,” the caption reads.

This will be the fifth time that the band will be in the country. The last time the English pop rock band performed live in the Philippines was back in 2019.

Their concert in the country will be part of their Asia-Pacific tour, which includes Japan, New Zealand, Thailand, and Australia.

No announcement for ticket prices has yet been made by PULP Live World, the official organizer of the concert in the country. Ticket selling will begin on November 2, at exactly 12 pm in different SM Ticket outlets nationwide and the website of SM Tickets.

The 1975 recently dropped their fifth studio album, Being Funny in a Foreign Language, last October 14 and it consists of 11 different songs. They also dropped the music video for “Part of the Band” back in July which was a pre-release single for the album.

They are known for their hit songs such as “Girls”, “Chocolate”, “Sex”, and “Robbers” to name a few. Matty Healy, Adam Hann, Ross MacDonald, and George Daniel are the members of the English pop rock band which was formed in 2002.
