Right on the heels of Cattleya Killer’s recent international premiere at the Mipcom (Marché International des Programmes de Communication), or the International Market of Communications Programs, which is a trade show held in Cannes, France, the official full trailer of the series was finally released online last October 20. The film is described as psychological thriller directed by Dan Villegas and written by Dodo Dayao.
The new international series was adapted from the 1996 Star Cinema movie Sa Aking Mga Kamay starring Aga Muhlach. It follows a serial killer preying on unfaithful wives who leaves a cattleya flower on those he kills as his signature.
Lead actor Arjo Atayde shared his excitement after posting the trailer. He wrote, “After 38 years finally the first ever Filipino series to screen on mipcom. It’s truly an honor to represent and be part of this project. Thank you direk @rekdibayani Tita Cory Vidanes, and to Sir @clk117 for giving the whole staff, crew, and us artists an opportunity to be a part of something like this!”
Joining Arjo in the cast is his younger sister Ria who also shared how she felt after working on the project. She wrote, “To be able to do this for ABSCBN amidst everything that has happened is already such an honor but to be able to make history with this for Filipinos is something else.
