‘Drag Race Philippines’ renewed for a second season

After a successful first season, Drag Race Philippines will be having another season as announced by the production company World of Wonder (WOW) at the MIPCOM last October 19. The accompanying segment of the series, Drag Race Philippines: Untucked, was also renewed for a second season.

“Finally, Drag Race Philippines and Drag Race Philippines: Untucked have both been officially renewed for second seasons,” WOW said.

The announcement comes a week after the finale of season one aired with Precious Paula Nicole winning the crown. She bested 11 other drag queens and was never in the bottom two throughout the season.

Precious is also set to attend RuPaul’s DragCon 2023 in London. The season one winner will be meeting other drag queens from all over the world such as Jaida Essence Hall, Yvie Oddly, Jinkx Monsoon, The Vivienne, Trinity the Tuck, Jimbo, and Nicky Doll.

Meanwhile, no other information such as the casting and airing date was given by the production company.

The first season saw Paolo Ballesteros serve as the host. Kaladkaren and Jiggly Caliente were the mainstay judges, and Rajo Laurel and Jon Santos were recurring guest judges.
