Former child star Trina Legaspi and her husband, Ryan Jarina, proudly shared that they are expecting their first child.

On Instagram, the former Goin’ Bulilit cast member revealed how excited they are for their little “Hopia Jarina.”

Their announcement comes a month before they mark their first-year anniversary as a married couple.

“From all the nanay roles to becoming a real-life mother! Can’t wait to see you, our little “Hopia Jarina,” Trina wrote.

The gender of their first child has yet to be revealed, with the actress asking her followers to guess.

Meanwhile, Trina’s husband shared a post sharing his excitement about welcoming their child whom he referred to as a “blessing.”

“Almost a year after our wedding, God gave us another blessing! Can’t wait to see you next year anak,” Ryan shared.

Celebrities such as Chie Filomeno, Benedix Ramos, Elisse Joson, Sue Ramirez, and her fellow Goin’ Bulilit cast member Jane Oineza congratulated the couple on Trina’s post.

Netizens also shared their reactions to Trina’s pregnancy, with a lot of them saying they couldn’t believe that she would become a mom in the coming months.

The actress previously shared with PUSH that she and her husband have already been planning on building a family.

“My heart is really full of love. Siyempre I still have lots of things to learn...Marami pa rin akong nilu-look forward. And hopefully, after a year of honeymoon, 'di ba, that's the time that we could plan na to have a family na rin one day,” she shared.

It was in November 2021 when Trina tied the knot with Ryan through a private wedding ceremony held at the Holy Trinity Church.

Prior to their wedding, the couple were together for six years and got engaged at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.
