Soon-to-be-mom Jessy Mendiola gave her followers an update on the situation of baby Peanut after she was infected with the COVID-19 virus. In her latest YouTube vlog, the actress said she wanted to make sure that her baby was well.
Despite the assurance of her doctor, Jessy wanted to see baby Peanut through an ultrasound session.
“Peanut is okay. Peanut is normal, even after my COVID infection. We’re just really grateful kasi si Peanut, strong si Peanut. Normal ang growth niya, normal ang weight niya,” she said.
Her husband, Luis Manzano, was with her throughout the appointment and was happy when they saw their kid healthy. Luis even joked around with Jessy, thanking the Lord that baby Peanut looked like her rather than him.
“Parang nakuha niya yung lips mo, love,” Jessy teased.
“Okay na. Kahit sa’yo na lang,” Luis replied back.
Meanwhile, Jessy also shared in her vlog that they are currently planning on moving to a new home as she wanted the environment to be safer. She also gave an update on the baby room which has yet to be shown.
“Lilipat kami sa bahay na mas safe para sa magiging baby namin. Hindi siya magiging high ceiling, tapos yung stairs niya safer hindi spiral staircase,” she explained.
The actress is currently six months pregnant. In a previous vlog, Jessy shared that they had been trying to get pregnant for months and felt pressured.
“Dumating sa point na hindi na rin kami masyadong pressured. Kumbaga, nag-usap kami na ‘Let’s have fun na lang, let’s enjoy. And antayin natin kung kailan ibibigay sa atin,’” she previously said.
The couple announced her pregnancy back in August.
