Growing up in a his hometown in Bongabon, Nueva Ecija, actor JC Alcantara said he had his own share of being scammed early on in his career by a former handler.

“Before sinabi sa akin, before pa yun, nung first handler ko, na pasisikatin niya ako (laughs). Sobrang hirap. Huwag mong ibigay yung tiwala mo sa isang tao lalo na pag hindi mo kilala,” he shared during the mediacon for the new season of Click, Like, Share last January 6.

After starring in the series Hello Stranger last year, JC takes on another acting challenge in the “Repair” episode of Click, Like, Share where he plays the role of a young police officer named James.

Playing the role of his father in the series is veteran actor Allan Paule whom JC is grateful to share a scene with.

Sobrang collaborative niya. Mabait sobra,” he admitted.

Happy with the current state of his personal and professional life, JC said there is nothing he needs to repair except for his new year’s resolutions.

With the number of COVID-positive cases rising in the country everyday, JC urged his followers to always keep themselves protected.

“Kaka-booster lang namin ni Belle (Mariano) kahapon. Please magpa-vaccine na kayo. Para maiwasan natin yung sakit na ‘to. At huwag na tayong lumabas at hugasan yung kamay at mag-face mask. Basta stay safe. Mag-ingat lang,” he added.
