Currently playing the role of Kelvin Zamora in the teleserye Marry Me, Marry You, actor Adrian Lindayag said he did not expect his coming out scene in the series to go viral. In the said scene, his onscreen parents, played by Cherry Pie Picache and Lito Pimentel, supported him lovingly after his revelation to their family.

“Sobrang overwhelmed ako sa mga comments na natanggap namin para sa eksenang yun. I would like to commend yung mga writers, yung sumulat sa eksena kasi napakahalagang ikuwento yung pagtanggap ng pamilyang Pilipino sa mga LGBT nilang kapamilya and proud ako na ABS-CBN and Dreamscape told that story,” he said during the Marry Me, Marry You Finale media conference last January 4.

Considering his latest role as an important representation for the LGBT community, Adrian said it will always be an unforgettable project for him, even now that Marry Me, Marry You is on its last month run.

“I think more than the honor of portraying Kelvin and his story and being part of this beautiful show, pinaka-paborito ko talaga yung samahan na nabuo naming lahat and iti-treasure ko yun forever for the rest of my life. I love you Marry Me Marry You family and sa lahat ng mga kapamilya na sumubaybay sa aming munting pamilya maraming salamat. Huwag niyong palalagpasin ang huling tatlong linggo,” he shared.

Just like his fellow cast members that took a break last month, Adrian said he enjoyed their recent New Year celebration.

“Kasama ko yung family ko sa overlooking so sa taas ng bundok so medyo kita namin na mas mataas kami kesa dun sa fireworks. First time ko ma-experience yung ganung klaseng New Year so it was interesting and fun,” he added.
